Cafec is one of the original Sanyo Sangyo brands. The group is a pioneer in the manufacture of paper coffee filters. It was the first company in the world to develop conical filters. A true innovation lab, they recently made a name for themselves with their abaca filters created from the leaves of banana trees sourced in Indonesia. Their fibre is not only more ecological, but above all more technical, thanks to a very regular mesh and naturally white colour. The new-generation filter uses the cutting-edge “Fine Grained” manufacturing technology. It is environmentally friendly and creates a faster water flow!
Abaca+ is designed specifically for professionals. Extraction is more precise thanks to the cutting-edge “Fine-Grained” manufacturing technology: a more uniform crepe paper texture and even more regular mesh.
Filter thickness remains unchanged. This creates an even faster water flow. Extraction is therefore designed to become an osmotic flow, thanks to osmotic pressure produced by allowing the water to flow continuously through the grind.
NB: We recommend regularly pouring small amounts rather than large volumes at a time.
